1) To describe the health and social care trajectory of people with problem gambling following their contact with the organization Jeu: aide et référence (JAR, a helpline for people experiencing problematic gambling or online game practices);
2) To understand the health and social care experience and needs of people with problem gambling following their contact with JAR;
3) To understand the experience of practitioners with people experiencing problem gambling, and to gain their perspective on the health and social care trajectory of these individuals;
4) Formulate courses of action to help improve the health and social care experience of people with problem gambling.
Component 1: Semi-structured interviews conducted twice over time (N= 40 x 2) will be used to describe the care trajectory and understand the health and social care experience and needs of people with problem gambling who have contacted JAR for help.
Component 2: Focus groups (N = 5) will be conducted with people working in the main resources referred by JAR and with people working at JAR. These focus groups will enable us to understand the practitioners' experience with problem gamblers and obtain their perspective on the health and social care trajectory of these individuals.
