Objectives

To develop a portrait of the patient partner experience at CRCHUS. This project will serve to spur the development of standardized performance indicators focused on the patient partner research experience (PREM).

Summary of methodology

Descriptive qualitative study, in the form of 20 semi-structured interviews (60-90 minutes) with patient partners of CRCHUS. The interviews explore various aspects of the patient partners' experience in research, such as relationships with the research team, communication, level of involvement, contribution to the project and sense of accomplishment.
